If this looks as good to you as it tastes to me, then I have a secret for you. This pizza was made in about 15 minutes, which is faster than you could get delivery. How? Well, last night my hubby was craving some extra tortillas before bed (the homemade kind - recipe here) and so I whipped up a batch for him and an extra batch of dough for the refrigerator at the same time. So when lunch time rolled around I thought to myself, "self, you have all the ingredients to make a fabulous pizza right in front of you." And so I did. I made this in about 5 minutes just by rolling out that tortilla dough to cover a greased 14x16 air bake pan, spreading on a few tablespoons of sauce, a few handfuls of mozzarella cheese and tossing on some turkey pepperoni (my concession to health). Heat that oven up to 550° degrees and cook for 10 minutes (flipping the pan 180° half way through). And that is it. 15 minutes to fresh pizza. Which makes me think you should probably go make some tortilla dough so that you can do this too. Okay? You'll thank me.
FYI: This pizza was just featured on the fabulous site: Marriage on a Budget. After all, this pizza can be made for only 32¢ a slice (and that is without buying any ingredients on sale). Just wanted to let you all know!
